18Kt Rose Gold Made in Italy Amethyst Innovatevely Worn Cosmic Cocktail Ring. The 18Kt Rose Gold Cosmic Design Caterina cocktail ring features an oval mixed cut high quality amethyst around 11.2 carats. I designed it with a special way of being worn: the large oval stone comfortably rests between two fingers, making it exceptionally wearable for a ring with such a large gem. The gem measures about 18 by 13 by 10 millimeters. The total weight of the ring is 12.24 grams. The size of the ring is EU 55, US 7. The ring is CAD designed by Italian designer and gemologist (GIA G.G.) Beatrice Barzaghi, then 3D printed, fused in gold, set and polished by hand by the best Italian goldsmiths. The distance between the vertex of the head and the curve holding the stone measures 30 mm. A spring has to be soldered inside the ring to fit the proper size and wear the ring at its best. Although the Caterina ring features a gem with a considerable size, it was carefully designed to gracefully fit into the anatomy of the left hand. The model can be custom redesigned to fit the right hand, since the weight of the stone influence the way of wearing it. Better to be worn on the middle or ring finger of the left hand. This ring gets the name from gorgeous Caterina. She came to me with her mum, who wanted to give her a family jewel for a special birthday. But she wanted the gemstone to be mounted in a modern way; so this ring was inspired by Caterina’s elegance and uniqueness. With its ethereal lines this ring symbolizes the reaching of Enlightenment; the fulfilment of the gifts we were born with. The Caterina ring, like all my jewels, is conceived as an energetic object, helping the wearer to develop the talents with which he/she was born. Gems and metals form deep into Mother Earth and because of extremely high temperatures and pressure they became energy accumulators, thus they affect the person wearing them. Energies and vibrations of gems are powerful and I proved it with an experiment held in February 2021 conducted by Professor of anatomy Claudia Dellavia of the University of Milan (please contact me for more details). The original Caterina ring bears with it the energies of the family members who wore it previously and release them to help Caterina energetic balance. Conversely the actual Caterina ring featuring an amethyst bears the energies connected to such gem and those of the earth where it formed.
