About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 0.31 carat diamond and 18 carat yellow gold love knot ring; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning gold antique ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold. This antique gold ring has been crafted in the form of a entwined strands comprising an ornamental knot*. The centre of the knot design is ornamented with a fine and impressive four claw set Old European round cut diamond, surrounded by a plain and unembellished diamond shaped yellow gold angular border. There are a further two Old European round cut, four claw set diamonds set to the edges of the gold knot design, each surrounded by a complimentary border. The shoulders are embellished with a yellow gold cuff design which integrate with the main setting and melds with the plain ring shank. The antique ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18ct gold fineness mark (18, crown), the maker's mark (JP), the London assay mark (leopard's head), and the date mark for 1913 (s). This antique diamond ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading card. NOTE: * Knots are classically associated with the symbolism of love, friendship, and affection.
