1940s French Diamond and Yellow Gold Cocktail Ring

About the Item

An impressive vintage French 0.28 carat diamond and 18 karat yellow gold, platinum set cocktail ring; part of our diverse diamond jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive 1940's gold diamond ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with a platinum setting. The pierced decorated, ribbed and chevron design is ornamented to the center with a 0.28ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, pavé set to a platinum square shaped setting. The flared, subtly elevated ring shoulders have a stepped design to the edges, joining the main setting at a cuff design and melding seamlessly with the plain shank. The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French hallmarks for 18k gold (eagles head) and platinum (dog's head). This vintage diamond cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This impressive 1940's cocktail ring is fine quality set with a very high colour graded, very high clarity graded diamond displaying fine white color and brilliance. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with French hallmarks to the outer surface of the shank.
