Stylish retro vintage citrine & ruby cocktail ring (circa 1940s) crafted in 14 karat yellow gold.
Emerald cut citrine measures 29mm x 19mm (estimated at 56.50 carats). Six cabochon cut rubies are estimated at 0.10 carats each (0.60 carats total estimated weight). The citrine is in very good condition and free of cracks or chips (few light surface abrasions visible under a 10x loupe).
The golden hued emerald cut citrine is a large stone, estimated at 56.50 carats, securely set into a high rising mount that is designed to show off the beauty of the gemstone. Cabochon cut rubies accent the center stone, adding a pop of color and contrast to the ring. The cocktail ring is grand in scale and makes a wonderful statement on the hand. If you like big and bold cocktail jewelry, this ring is for you! The high rise ring (15.5mm - 0.61 inches) sits comfortably on the finger. Due to the heavier weight of the ring (21.8 grams), the base of the band is flat to allow the ring to counterbalance on the finger.
