About the Item

An impressive vintage French 3.03 carat aquamarine and 1.42 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold marquise ring; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive 1950s aquamarine and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k white gold. The pierced decorated, marquise shaped setting is ornamented with two feature round mixed cut aquamarines, individually claw set vertically to the center of the design. The feature aquamarines are flanked on either side by a pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond. A further thirty pavé set eight-cut diamonds embellish the marquise shaped setting to complete the design. The pierced decorated, bifurcated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and amalgamate to form the channelled shank. The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French hallmark for 18k gold (eagle's head) and maker's mark, which is partially worn in keeping with age. This vintage 1950s cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Condition This impressive vintage gemstone dress ring is fine quality set with aquamarine and very well color matched, very high color graded diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with partially worn French hallmarks to the outer surface of the shank. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of vintage jewelry/estate jewelry.
