Elegant Cocktail ring of huge blue-green Beryl set in a custom made Sterling Silver setting. This 25ct gemstone features all the usual inclusions found in the beryl family. Also, in the Beryl family you will find in addition to aquamarine, emerald, golden beryl or heliodor, morganite, goshenite, and red beryl. The name beryl comes from the Latin 'beryllus' which is a 'precious blue-green color-of-the sea-water stone.' Green beryl is said to stimulate the mind, treat disorders of the spine and heart, and protect travelers from danger. No changes by seller. Size 8.25 and sizable by your local jeweler. 23x18 MM. Kathy lives by the motto, "Go Big or Go Home," and fell in love with jewelry design when she met founder Hans Stern, a pioneer in designing jewelry with Brazil's vibrantly colored gemstones, Mr. Stern invited her to his workroom, shared his expertise - and she was hooked. Martha and Kathy met while living in Rio de Janeiro and they have been design partners and friends ever since.
