About the Item

An impressive antique 2.05 carat black opal and 0.22 carat diamond, platinum dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive cabochon cut black opal ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, millegrain bordered setting displays a feature 2.05Ct black opal, six claw set in relief to the centre of the design. The opal is flanked on either side by nine pavé set eight-cut diamonds. The subtly elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and meld seamlessly with the plain ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the mark for platinum (ALL PLAT). This antique gemstone cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This stunning antique dress ring is fine quality set with a stunning black opal, displaying a fine play of color, and very well color matched, very high colour graded old cut diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition with a clear hallmark to the interior of the shank.
