This is an absolutely breathtaking antique engagement or dinner ring that was crafted in solid platinum during the Edwardian era. This very unique and highly detailed ring features an approximately 0.80 carat, old European cut, diamond solitaire neatly bezel set at the center of the stunning and elegant hexagon-shaped design. The solitaire displays tremendous amount of brilliance with eye-catching sparkles in which reflects its fine quality. The surrounding frame, puffed top, and sides of the shank are drenched with 40 additional old single cut diamond accents that are neatly pave set throughout for an absolutely glamorous and gorgeous touch, adding approximately 80 points in additional carat weight. This ring is beautifully decorated with milgrain etching and subtle open work throughout its top and its sides, along with hand engraved designs and a wheat work pattern that runs entirely throughout the shank, adding an authentic antique character and an elegant look to this piece.
