Antique French 1920s 1.39 Carat Diamond and Sapphire Platinum Dress Ring

About the Item

A stunning antique French Art Deco 1.39 carat diamond and 0.33 carat sapphire, platinum dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, octagonal Art Deco design is ornamented with a central bezel set 0.80 Ct Old European marquise cut diamond. Six calibre cut blue sapphires surround the central stone. A further twenty-six pavé set eight-cut diamonds embellish the geometric design. The pierced decorated, elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French mark for platinum (dog's head). This impressive antique cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This stunning Art Deco ring is fine quality set with impressive sapphires and very high color graded diamonds, displaying a fine white color, brilliance and presence. The ring is a very good gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition with a clear French hallmark to the outer surface of the shank.
