Art Deco 1.50 Carat Solitaire Platinum Ring
About the Item
Exquisite diamond ring features a phenomenally brilliant 1 carat old European cut diamond center complemented by a richly detailed diamond encrusted platinum setting. Fiery, beautifully white, and 100% eye clean, the center diamond was cut by hand a lifetime in the past during the 1920s to 1930s.
A stunning work of craftsmanship, the domed platinum setting is studded with diamonds, elegantly accented with intricate scalloped cutouts, and richly textured with hand applied milgrain! All full old European cut, the 0.50 of high quality F-G VS accent diamonds adds substantial, eye catching sparkle! The design is iconically Art Deco and elegantly glamorous! The level of detail in this ring is absolutely fantastic. It is an excellent choice for an engagement or right hand ring that is not only beautifully designed and eye-catching, but also fully unique and steeped in history.
The 1 carat center diamond faces up beautifully white, graded H-I for color. It shows no warmth on the face up. Graded SI2-SI3 for clarity, the diamond is 100% eye clean. The primary inclusion is thin and transparent. It blends perfectly into the faceting and sparkle The additional few inclusions are tiny, much too small to see with the naked eye.
This is an excellent SI2-SI3 diamond with no visible inclusions and full, dazzling brilliance! As an old European cut, the diamond has an air of old world charm, and its wide, old style facets display bold sparkle as well as vivid fire. Overall, it is a magnificent diamond, with very bright and lively sparkle. The accent diamonds are bright white and very clean, graded F-G for color and VS for clarity. It is difficult to find any inclusions in the accent diamonds even under 10x magnification.
The side diamonds are full old European cuts. This is a special touch as it is quite rare to find fully faceted old European cuts in this size (most vintage rings use single cuts for the side diamonds)! The diamonds are all completely natural earth mined and have not received any treatments or enhancements. The setting is solid platinum and handmade in breathtaking intricate detail!
