Art Deco 1925 Carved Agate Ring With Pigeon In Platinum With Diamonds And Rubies
About the Item
An art deco carved agate ring with a stylized pigeon.
Very handsome and unusual cocktail ring, created during the art deco period, back in the 1925. This ring is made up from a carved single piece of greenish agate and a pigeon crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and platinum. The bird is very stylized and is embellished with twenty-four natural earth mined gemstones such European rose cut diamonds and calibre cuts red rubies.
Diamonds: The pigeon is mount with a pave setting of 16 European rose cut diamonds, 0.32 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Rubies: Mounted in a millegrain channel setting, with 8 French calibre cut of natural vivid red rubies with a weight of about 0.24 carats.
Weight: 9.60 Grams, (6.15 Dwt).
Size: 10 and may be sized on request with the installation of an inner spring ring.
Measurements: 16 mm by 26 mm (0.63 x 1.02 Inches).
Hallmarks: Unmarked and electronically tested for the 18 karats gold and the platinum.
Collateral: This ring is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold or the platinum. All parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
