About the Item

How do you like this lime-colored diamond engagement or cocktail ring? One-of-a-kind Art Deco Geometric Ring in Platinum and 19.2 Karat White Gold, featuring a Certified Natural Fancy Greenish Yellow Old Mine-cut diamond, Portuguese, late 1930s. The Fancy colored diamond with a hue that hints both green and yellow is millegrain-set to the center, amidst a sea of rectangular, squared and half-barrel plaques similarly-set throughout with 54 colorless and near colorless Old Mine-cut, Old European brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds, all stones to an openwork geometric design in platinum that leads to a solid D-shape white gold shank. Although the design is mostly for a dress ring, it could be easily used as a unique engagement ring. Main diamond accompanied by a GCS diamond report stating it is 0.70 carats, natural Fancy Light Greenish Yellow, even color. Remaining diamonds approximately 1.25 carats in total, F-H color, SI clarity. This ring is a finger size 56.5 (EU), but can be sized up or down. Gross weight: 6.8g. Portuguese hallmark "horse head" (used 1934-1984) for 800/1000 gold and 500 platinum; Portuguese hallmark "rooster head" (used 1934-1984) for jewelry; indistinct maker's mark. This item is in good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with general age and wear. Antique, period and vintage pieces, both signed and unsigned, are being offered as worn.
