About the Item
This ring designed by Michel Tortel for QITTERI features a major innovation: a new gem cut in the shape of a perfectly proportioned minimalist beam. In this model, Prasiolite is suspended in space revealing its deep colours and secret gardens.
The 3.25 carat Prasiolite has a VVS purity. Its totally original size is 16.0 x 4.0 x 3.6 mm.
Made of 4.73 grams of rhodium-plated 18-carat white gold, its design was conceived to highlight this new original cut of the stone.
Its design is inspired by architecture and is designed to let the light reflect and to allow it to pass through the material. The Prasiolite is suspended, just set at its ends.
The design is pure, it follows the shapes in the simplest possible way in the always accurate idea of "less is more". The iconic design is light, allowing the gem to be seen as you have never seen it before from all sides, revealing its own diffractions and play of light.
This model can be adjusted for sizes not too far from 54 which is its current size.
This ring can be worn on a daily basis or for parties and cocktails but with care as the suspended stone can be sensitive to shocks and break if hit hard.
Its design and originality will always attract the eye. It will also be a subject of daily contemplation depending on the different lights of the day.
