French Art Nouveau Era 18k Gold Diamond Flower Marquise Ring
About the Item
As the first spring bulbs start to make their appearance, it is the perfect time to wear your spring vibe jewelry!
For sale a beautiful 18K marquise ring featuring a floral head with flowing lines and leaves.
The central of the motif is made of an old mine cut diamond in prong setting, measuring 35mm in diameter of an estimated weight of approximately 0.2ct. The leaves are decorated with 18 rose cut diamonds in bezel setting, open backed. The diamonds are firstly mounted in 18K white gold and then 18K yellow back. The shoulders of the ring are also made in 18K yellow gold. The ring is stamped with the French owl hallmark for 18K gold on the shank. The ring is dated back to the early 20th century, the Art Nouveau era.
The ring differs from the classic diamond marquise ring by its creativity in full bloom with a detailed execution on the design. The floral head of the ring measures 26mm in height and 16mm in width, making the ring a feminine yet bold piece to style!
