GIA Certified 8.01Ct Cushion Cut Unheated Blue Sapphire
About the Item
This ring is custom designed to prominently show the beauty of this magnificent gemstone. The vast majority of sapphires on the market are treated with heat to enhance their color. To find a vibrant, rich blue Sapphire of this size that is unheated is quite rare. The sapphire is accompanied by a GIA Report indicating that there is no heat treatment and that the origin is from Sri Lanka (Ceylon). The cut of this Blue Sapphire is exquisite, and spread so that the weight of the sapphire is distributed proportionately more on top and not in the depth. This leads to the sapphire looking large as it should, and not diminished in size because too much of the weight is at the bottom of the sapphire. The design of the ring seamlessly complements the hand and is very comfortable to wear.
