This timeless diamond blue sapphire cocktail ring combines bright sparkle, rich color, and a romantic design. The main stone is an old transitional cut GIA certified diamond has bright white F color, a completely eye clean, lively sparkle, and vivid fire. Bridging the gap between old cuts and modern round brilliants, old transitional cut diamonds were produced for a very short period of time and are exceptionally rare. Cut entirely by hand in the late 1920’s to 1940’s, this diamond is charmingly vintage, completely unique, and guaranteed to be 100% conflict free! It is a classic Transitional cut with the sought after checkerboard pattern! Already imbued with life and longevity, this diamond will make an engagement or right hand ring that is not only eye-catching and stunningly beautiful but also full of depth and history. The diamond is certified by GIA. The face of the ring is encrusted with vibrant diamonds and punctuated by a rich blue sapphire halo. The effect is dazzling and classically glamorous! Eye catching with an air of elegant sophistication, this is an excellent choice for a stylish engagement or right hand ring setting! The diamonds are brilliantly white, graded G-H for color. Graded VS1-SI1 for clarity, they are all completely eye clean, stunningly vibrant, and well cut. The sapphires are a rich, well-saturated blue that contrasts strikingly with the diamonds and the white gold. 0.55ct is a conservative estimate of the carat weight for the sapphires; the actual carat weight is likely higher. The diamonds and sapphires are natural, earth-mined stones. The sapphires are cut and set with exceptional craftsmanship. Each sapphire is individually cut to fit in the channel with zero gaps. This is a highly skilled and labor intensive process that truly making this setting a work of art! The setting is made of solid 14k white gold, and the gallery is embellished with elegant filigree curls. The ring measures 9.5mm across (north south) and 4.4mm from the finger to the top of the setting.
