About the Item
One of a Kind Ring hand-fabricated in Japan in 18k yellow gold by acclaimed jewelry artist Shinobu Marotta (Talkative Marotta) showcasing a stunning natural round 11.14 carat faceted quartz crystal featuring deep blue indicolite tourmaline needles that saturate the quartz to a beautiful soft blue, bezel-set in a satin-finished high dome atop the maker's signature textured 18k yellow gold band. The gorgeous gem measures 0.75" in diameter with a height of 0.625" off the finger. Size 6.5 (can be sized). Stamped and Hallmarked.
About the Maker - Talkative designer, Shinobu Marotta, had a career as a graphic designer before finding her passion in the world of fine jewelry. After developing skills in both jewelry design and craftsmanship, she joined a leading jewelry company in her native Japan, spending several years working in the industry while studying the landscape of the market. In 2008, Shinobu launched Talkative with a vision of offering casual fine jewelry to independent women looking for a more contemporary aesthetic. Partnering with highly-skilled Japanese artisans, Shinobu prides herself on the permanence of each piece and its ability to become a beloved heirloom. Her designs are fun-loving and whimsical, intended to spark a conversation with her modern twist on traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
