About the Item
This Raible ring is a stunner! Bold yet elegant, architectural yet soft and alluring, this ring is uniquely Raible. As part of the limited edition Studio Collection, this ring has been made with Tourmaline, Aquamarine and Golden Beryl. Raible commissions each stone to be cut out of the best material specifically for this ring. The size and shape of this stone is nothing you will find ready made in the marketplace. In this ring Raible has commissioned this gorgeous Morganite to be cut to his specifications. The four Diamonds add just the right amount of light and sparkle to accentuate the soft color and bold shape of the Morganite. I can't imagine this right without those accents, it would be lacking something. We might not know what it was lacking, but we would know something was missing. Bravo again Mr. Raible!
Morganite is the pink to orange-pink variety of beryl, a mineral that includes Emerald and Aquamarine. Morganite has grown in popularity since 2010. According to a 2017 survey, morganite is the second most popular non-diamond stone, after sapphire. Morganite is one of the rarest members of the beryl family.

Unlike much “designer” jewelry made today, all jewelry work is done under Kent's direct supervision, with the majority of pieces made entirely by his hand. Beginning with the artist's vision and his sketch, every aspect of the work is done in his studio: alloying the metals, pouring ingots from molten gold, then rolling and drawing the sheet and wire stock used in fabrication, making of granules and small parts used to produce each of Kent's fabulously intricate pieces.
All work is handmade in the USA.

Kent Raible's ‘Studio Collection’:
These works are inspired by some of Kent's favorite one-of-a-kind pieces. They are created to be just as beautiful as his bespoke work, but by repeating the design, become more affordable.
An original piece is fabricated by the artist, and is then molded and cast in 18karat gold. The castings are then finished and granulated by hand. The assembly, stone setting, chain weaving, clasp mechanisms, and finish work are done by the artist himself, and his personally trained goldsmiths. Each limited edition piece, although beginning from the same mold is slightly different; varied stones, granule patterns and other touches make each piece unique.

Kent Raible
Kent Raible is a celebrated master goldsmith and jewelry designer, who has been the recipient of national and international awards. His designs incorporate beautiful gemstones with gold granulation, an ancient technique popular in Byzantine and Etruscan jewelry. “My life’s path is that of the goldsmith, a path of over 44 years now! To say I love my job would be an understatement! Because, in a world where few things endure, I am one of those who have chosen to celebrate that which defies the passage of time and the whims of fashion. My life's works draw deeply from the most ancient wells - the archetypes, symbols, and themes that have persisted for millennia. Raible's work can be found on display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Oakland Museum of California, as well as additional private and public collections.
