Midcentury White Gold Ruby Bouquet Ring
About the Item
This Ruby Bouquet Ring features three focal Natural Medium Red Rubies (slightly opaque) - a central 1 carat Oval cut with 2 slightly smaller Pear cuts totaling 0.75 carats. Ruby is noted as the "cardinal" of precious Gemstones. The name 'Ruby' coming from the Latin word 'Ruber' for Red. The Ancient Romans also used Ruby as "Cupid's Gem" .. Ruby is also the birthstone for those born in the month of July. From the end of the era of Shield rings, attributed to the Retro / Art Deco era. Would certainly complement any Retro or Art Deco pieces. Accented with a total of 0.75 carats of Round Single cut Diamonds ranking an F-H Color (Nearly Colorless) & VVS1-SI2 Clarity (Nearly Flawless to Slightly Included) .. The manner in which the Diamonds are set create the optical illusion of twice the carat weight.
