About the Item
A very fine 18k gold and amethyst modernist cocktail ring.
With a rectangular cut amethyst gemstone prong set above a stippled and hammered platform setting that is supported by an asymmetrical split shank.
Very cool mid-century design!

There is a chip to one corner of the amethyst as well as some fritting and edge wear to the amethyst's edges.
It has a rough cut 'natural edge' feel.
