A superb Vintage 1960s Panetta Cocktail Ring made in solid sterling silver with a gold vermeil finish. Italian born Benedetto Panetta founded his Costume Jewellery company in 1945 in America. He believed his handmade creations would blur the line between real and faux. And they did. Featuring a large claw set amethyst crystal stone surrounded by smaller white crystals. This is one of the best cocktails rings Panetta made during the mid century. This beautiful 1960s Panetta Cocktail Ring measures approx. a UK ring size M and a wonderful crown diameter of 2.2cm. In excellent vintage condition and signed Panetta and Sterling on the inner shank. A stunning vintage cocktail ring that looks truly fabulous.
