About the Item
A fine platinum, diamond and Lightning Ridge opal dress ring. This cluster ring centres on a 1.12 carat Lightning Ridge opal from Australia exhibiting a 'light grey rolling flash, red, blue, green mix pattern'. This opal has been rub over set and is surrounded by a twin halo of brilliant cut and baguette cut diamonds. The 52 diamonds which are all of G/H colour and P1-SI clarity total 0.87 carat and accent the central opal beautifully. This particular ring is an excellent example of the opals which are found in Lightning Ridge in Australia.
