Plume Australian Opal Ring in Gold with Sapphires and Diamonds by NIXIN Jewelry
About the Item
A striking boulder opal in peacock hues flashes from this Australian Opal Ring. Set in 14k gold with sapphires and diamonds, its display of colors is phenomenal. From the eyespot of the blue opal plume, shimmering cobalt swirls around an abyss of pulsing teal and green. Gripped by two tiers of glistening gems, blue sapphires and teal diamonds cascade from the opal in a stratum of kindred colors - like birds of a feather. And into a gold feather band these gemstones converge. A demonstration that you need not take to the air to spread your wings - simply let your imagination take flight.
Inspired by the remarkable opal, this peacock feather ring is custom designed to illuminate its features. The opal is bezel set with open back, and graduated prong set sapphires and diamonds lead into its matte gold feather band. Gentle contours peak opposite these gems in a contrasting polished gold end of the plume. Behind the boulder opal, an inscription awaits - a secret message intended exclusively for its owner. One of a kind Australian Opal ring.
MATERIALS:
• Metal: 14k Yellow Gold
• Stones: 6.95ct Australian Boulder Opal, .40ct Teal Diamonds (enhanced),.25ct Sapphires
• We use natural gemstones, and some inclusions and slight variations from stone to stone should be expected. The subtle differences in each piece are part of what makes it beautiful and uniquely yours.

• Opal Frame approximately 20mm tall x 21mm wide (including gemstones) x 5.25mm deep
• Band: approximately 3mm wide (at narrowest) x 1.65mm deep
• Ring Size: 7.5 is Ready-to-Ship, Allow Resizing Time for other options (Sizes 6.5 - 8.5)
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• Caring For Your Jewelry:
Fine jewelry is delicate and should be treated with care. Avoiding any chemical exposures (ie: chlorine, lotion, etc…) and removing your jewelry during rigorous activity (ie: exercise or gardening) or at times of potential impact is advised. Please contact us at for assistance if your stone is loose or your setting is catching.
• Cleaning Your Jewelry:
Soft and or porous stones such as (solid) Opals, Turquoise, or even Pearls, can be cleaned with a soft toothbrush and warm soapy water. Diamonds are harder, but not impervious to damage — the care instructions above are safe to apply. Unless specifically recommended by us, we advise against the use of chemical cleaners on your NIXIN Jewelry. Avoid ultrasonic devices with soft and porous gemstones as well as with pave gemstones. Have your jewelry professionally cleaned as needed.
