About the Item
This is a handmade one of a kind "Wearable Sculpture" made by designer Robert Trisko. His designs are all so very unique and he creates what he calls and is now coined as "Wearable Sculpture" jewelry. He does this through the process of casting and fabricating gold and gemstones. His use of lost wax casting and hand manipulation create some of the most spectacular designs seen around the world. In this case, the ring is solid 14k Yellow Gold and complemented with a 21.2 x 18 mm Star Ruby, which amounts to a significant amount of carats. It is a size 6.5 and fits my finger perfectly. So after wearing it I learned that it fit snuggly on my finger and yet was very comfortable, not overly heavy feeling and did not spin. I would give it an AA+ for wearability. It has been professionally shined and buffed and is in excellent condition. It does weigh a whopping 40.22 grams. I took the ring to a jeweler that said it is sizeable but did not give me a cost. Mr. Trisko is still creating this magnificent jewelry and operates out of Waite Park, MN.
