The Squashy Ring. A Fine Unique Fancy Cut Watermelon Tourmaline & Diamond 18k White Gold Modern Ring.
Unique 4 carat bi colour watermelon tourmaline with a beautiful pink and blue colour split. Hence the name of this piece - Squashy Ring. After the red and blue sweet.
Watermelon tourmalines are a stunning phenomenon in the gemstone world featuring distinctive colour splits from colour zoning in the rough. Cut in a way to exhibit this colour zoning to best effect.
This stone has an excellent fancy octagonal cut and very good clarity, a clean stone with only some small natural inclusions visible when looking closely.
This unique tourmaline is set in a beautiful bespoke made 18k white gold ring setting with superb care' cut diamond accents. 0.40ct total with E/F colour VS-VVS clarity.
A modern style piece which beautifully frames this unique stone.
