Vintage 1.00ct Round Cut Natural Sapphire Cocktail Ring, Diamond Halo, Platinum
About the Item
A vintage ring with a round-cut natural sapphire at the center, weighing approximately 1.00 carat and held in prongs. The center stone is surrounded by a floral halo of old European cut diamonds set within half-bezels. An outer border of old European cut diamonds lines the edge of the openwork mounting.
Each shoulder is adorned with a single diamond. The total diamond weight for this ring is 1.18 carats. The platinum mounting features fine milgrain and an openwork under-gallery, showcasing the craftsmanship of the Art Deco era. Crafted around 1935.
