About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 5.46 carat black opal and 0.52 carat diamond, platinum cocktail ring; part of our diverse antique black opal jewellery collection. This stunning, fine and impressive antique opal engagement ring with diamond has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated frame is ornamented with a feature four-claw set 5.46ct black opal. The opal is flanked with two four-claw set emerald cut diamonds, totalling 0.52ct. The pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and amalgamate to form the plain ring shank. This stunning antique black opal ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the platinum mark (Pt 900). The ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. Such magnificent and original antique examples are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
