Vintage Amethyst Diamond Cocktail Ring 16 Carat Amethyst
About the Item
Boasting an enormous cushion cut amethyst, this spectacular mid-Century cocktail ring was made to be seen! The amethyst weighs approx. 16 carats and has a luxurious, deep purple hue and an array of glistening facets, complemented beautifully by three sparkling brilliant cut diamonds down each side with SI1 clarity – H colour (approx. 0.10ct each – 0.60ct total).
Amethyst is the birthstone of February. It’s considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity and has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep purple colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
The piece is modelled in 18ct gold with the principal stone held securely in an open claw mount that crowns it high and proud atop the finger for all to see. It’s a magnificent statement piece, exhibiting a breath-taking amethyst that is fit for a Queen.
