Vintage Silver and Rose Quartz Ring by Swedish master Carl Forsberg Year 1973
About the Item
This silver ring features a very large, teardrop-shaped, cabochon-cut rose quartz stone. The stone is a translucent pale pink and is smoothly polished, with a rounded dome-like shape. It is encased in a silver setting with a textured edge, giving subtle contrast to the stone's smooth surface. The band of the ring is also made of silver and splits into a wide, supportive structure as it reaches the setting. The setting holds the stone securely with a sturdy silver backing that curves around the lower part of the quartz.
Pair this ring with a flowy, off-white linen dress and tan strappy sandals for a fresh, bohemian summer look.
Carl Forsberg had a small workshop south of Stockholm, Sweden,. His works usually has a large and bold design. Due to his small production his works are scarce.
