White Gold Fig Cocktail Ring with 3 Diamonds by the Artist Featured in Vogue
About the Item
This Figs on the Leaf cocktail ring is made of 14 karat white gold with three hidden diamonds. It was designed by oil painter Polya Medvedeva, who drew inspiration from Claude Monet's Nympheas and their intricate shapes and attention to detail.
The ring is part of the classic Fig collection that has been featured in Vogue UA and other magazines. It is heavy, made with a lot of gold, and looks splendid when it catches the sun's rays, much like the natural habitat of fig trees.
The sugar fig fruit is often considered equivalent to the biblical forbidden apple, and fig leaves were used as the first clothes for humans in the Garden of Paradise. The fig tree is also a sacred tree in ancient myths.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
