Antique Star set Ruby and Diamond ring, 18k gold
About the Item
You can't help but fall in love with this beautiful antique Star set diamond and ruby ring.
Set in rich buttery 18ct gold, this design has the iconic star shaped setting giving a lovely celestial touch.
It feature a single old cut diamond to the centre flanked by two pinky red rubies.
The face is domed in an almost bombe shape which gives it a nice chunky feel and these stack well with other rings too!
Marks and era:
Victorian era, fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Birmingham assay office, Date letter rubbed c1890s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, some light surface wear and nicks to the rubies.
Ring face Approx 8.6mm length and 3mm band width.
Central diamond approx 0.10ct weight, estimated in setting.
