Victorian Turquoise Pearl Dome Conversion Ring of 10k Gold
About the Item
A striking domed turquoise ring with a pearl star at its center!
This colorful ring was likely originally a Victorian brooch (circa 1860-1880). The turquoise cabochons are set in silver, while the underside of the dome and band are 10k gold.
The face of the ring measures 0.75 inches inches from top to bottom by 0.65 inches wide.
The size 6.75 ring is in very good condition with a chip to one of the pearls and a dark spot to one of the turquoise cabochons. There is also wear to the nacre of several pearls -- visible under magnification. The ring can be re-sized for an additional charge.
The metal content of this ring was verified via XRF (x ray analysis) and with jeweler's acids.
