About the Item

A fine and impressive vintage 0.92 carat (total) diamond and platinum dress ring with a contemporary shank; part of our diverse diamond jewellery and estate jewelry collections This fine and impressive diamond dress ring has been crafted in platinum. The feature pierced decorated, high profile, basket style mount displays a feature eight claw / prong set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond held in relief to the centre of the design. The central diamond is encircled by eight individually claw / prong set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The feature, stepped, flared and elevated pierced decorated ring shoulders are embellished with four pavé set eight-cut diamonds individually displayed to each side. This impressive 1950's dress ring has a replacement contemporary ring shank. The shank is hallmarked to the interior with the maker's mark 'CMP', the platinum guarantee mark (orb), the platinum fineness mark 950, the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter for 2009 (k). This vintage dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
