About the Item

Ring in platinum, dog's head hallmark. Important rectangular shape antique ring, it is set with 4 double claws, of an oval blue sapphire surrounded by 2 x 7 brilliant- cut diamonds and shouldered with 2 baguette diamonds. The ring consists of wires forming a perforated shuttle on either side of the head and meeting at the base. The basket is lined with a twist. Weight of the sapphire : approximately 8.44 carats. Natural Ceylon Sapphire certified by French Gemmological Laboratory - No heated. Total weight of diamonds : approximately 2.08 carats.
