About the Item

A fine and impressive 1.11 carat pink sapphire, 0.54 carat diamond and platinum cocktail ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive pink sapphire cocktail ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated, cut cornered rectangular halo setting is ornamented with a feature 1.11 Ct step cut pink sapphire, bezel set in relief to the centre. The sapphire is framed by a completely separate halo setting, embellished with fourteen pavé set Old European round cut diamonds and a subtle millegrain decoration. The elevated ring shoulders are each accented with three pavé set Old European round cut diamonds, integrating with the main setting and blending seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior with the marks for platinum (plat), the makers mark 'RL', the platinum guarantee mark (orb), the platinum fineness mark 950, the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 2016 (r).
