Edwardian Hexagonal Shaped Diamond Panel Ring

About the Item

An Edwardian hexagonal shaped diamond panel ring, the seven old brilliant-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 0.8 carats in total, millegrain rubover-set to the centre of an open diamond-set cluster all set in platinum to an 18 carat yellow gold mount, circa 1910, head measuring 1.3x1.2cm, gross weight 3.5 grams. Finger size P This ring is in fine condition. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold and platinum. A simple and elegant diamond ring made in around 1910. This ring features an openwork hexagonal plaque set with seven bright and lively diamonds. The plaque is set on a white gold and yellow gold ring. The openwork design and simplicity of this piece make it a wonderful example of Edwardian jewellery. This ring comes from Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would make a pretty engagement ring or an excellent ring for everyday wear. The finger size of most of our rings can be adjusted and our workshop will be happy to do this free of charge. If you do not know your finger size please request us to post you a finger measure. Should you choose to make this purchase we would be delighted to send it to you in a Bentley & Skinner handmade leather case packed in a gift-wrapped Bentley & Skinner black and gold presentation box. Shortly afterwards we will send you on a valuation for insurance purposes for your reference and safekeeping.
