French 1920s 5.50 Carats Tourmaline Diamonds Platinum Daisy Ring
About the Item
Ring in platinum, dog head hallmark.
Magnificent antique cluster ring, its oval frame is flat and its basket openworked with arabesque patterns. In the center, a bluish-green tourmaline is set in a surround of rose-cut diamonds, also set in a closed setting. On either side of the ring, a palmette motif is set with 2 x 3 rose-cut diamonds.
Total weight of the tourmaline : 5.50 carats.
Total weight of the diamonds : 0.40 carat approximately.
Height : 19.2 mm approximately, width : 15.8 mm approximately, thickness : 5.3 mm approximately, width of the ring at the base : 1.5 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 5,4 g approximately.
