Victorian Five-Stone Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1900s
About the Item
Five old cut diamonds sparkle in this Victorian engagement ring. The centre diamond is the largest, weighing 0.40 carat. Moving outwards on either side of the centre stone are two 0.25 carat diamonds. The outermost diamonds are 0.15 carats each. The diamonds were cut by hand, and are G colour and VS clarity. The ring is crafted in two metals, typical of the era. Platinum claws hold the diamonds, while the shank made of 18 carat yellow gold.
