Antique Ruby and Diamond Ring, C. 1880
About the Item
Antique diamond and ruby ring. Probably made in America, this minor masterpiece composed of 6 small prong set rose cut diamonds encircle a natural bright red ruby, probably from Burma. This old mine cut stone has fine clarity and is a very pretty ruby! It is estimated to weigh .40 cts., this rose gold ring has hand chased on both sides. This ring, in fine condition, can easily be resized. It is now a new 9.25. The ring bears no marks, which is not unusual for this time period.
