About the Item
Here we have a truly stunning French ring that dates back to the early 20th century. The ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold, platinum and enamel. Using the vitreous enamelling technique known as plique-à-hour the maker has allowed light to shine through the ring creating a mesmerising effect. On top of this there are ivy leaves made of gold lead up to two old cut diamonds which act as the centre piece of the ring. The ring is a fine example of exceptional Art Nouveau craftsmanship and items of this quality are becoming harder and harder to find.
