From the Kent Raible, one of a kind Masterworks Collection, we have this lively 2.29ct Aquamarine cabochon set atop an 18 karat gold ring with fine detailing and granulation. Kent has a way of "building" rings, a distinctive architecture, if you will, that often gives the etheric feeling of an ancient temple. Raible is well known for this style seen in his larger works, and that feeling comes through quite well in this lovely ring. The diamonds set at an angle add to the architectural dimension of this piece, and offer a welcome subtle sparkle. 2.29ct Aquamarine .09 ct Diamonds GVS SI 7.5 Grams 18 Karat Gold Size 7.5, sizable Kent Raible and his jewelry.... Unlike much “designer” jewelry made today, all jewelry work is done under Kent's direct supervision, with the majority of pieces made entirely by his hand. Beginning with the artist's vision and his sketch, every aspect of the work is done in his studio: alloying the metals, pouring ingots from molten gold, then rolling and drawing the sheet and wire stock used in fabrication, making of granules and small parts used to produce each of Kent's fabulously intricate pieces.
