Purple Sapphire 1.5 Carat and Yellow Diamond White Gold Ring
About the Item
Sapphire is a wonderful gemstone to be worn daily, due to the Mohs' hardness of 9. This lovely trillion cut purple Sapphire has a little hue of blue in some lights. I would call it a color shift and not a color change stone. The unique modern setting with the euro shank looks lovely on any hand.
The ring is done in 14-karat white gold
The 12 round yellow Diamonds have a total weight of 0.19 carats and are color enhanced.
The purple sapphire center stone weighs 1.5 carats and is eye clean. A little tub inclusion is visible with a 10 power lope, just the perfect proof, that it is a natural stone. Like most sapphires, this one is probably heat treated.
The top of the ring is 9.9 mm and tapers down to 3.6 mm and is a sizeable size US 6.5
The ring is a nice everyday design or even an unusual engagement ring.
