An impressive antique 1.82 carat white opal and 0.35 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and platinum set cocktail ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique cabochon cut opal and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with a platinum setting. The pierced decorated, scrolling domed 18k yellow gold frame is ornamented with a feature platinum four claw/prong set 1.82Ct cabochon cut opal. The opal is flanked on either side by an individually platinum four claw/prong set Old European round cut diamond. The multi stranded ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and amalgamate to form a plain ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French hallmarks for 18k gold (eagle's head) and platinum (dog's head).
