Steven Battelle 2.4 Carats Emerald Diamond Oxidized Silver 18K Gold Ring
About the Item
A lively 6 x 10 mm oval faceted Zambian emerald is set in an 18K gold bezel with a surrounding line textured gold double bezel. Two 1.8 mm VS1 diamonds are set to the sides with similar gold accompaniment. All resting atop a comfortable flat and wide organically textured sterling band with deep oxidation to beautifully contrast the greens, white, and gold. A very unique way to display the large emerald, this ring is currently sized 6.5. Due to the textured band, it is not easy to resize. A very natural and hand hewn look!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
