Vintage Jade Ring 22K Tiny Size 2 for Child
About the Item
This vintage (circa 1980s) ring was hand-crafted in luxurious 22K pure gold that has been bezel-set with a luscious apple-green cabochon of natural, untreated jadeite jade. The jade measures 10.01 x 8.2mm and is highly translucent, despite the closed back of the ring.
The rich yellow gold mounting features the slightly Romanesque design aesthetic that was so enormously popular in the 1980s, especially around 1987. A twisted rope of gold wire forms the base of the bezel. The interior is marked for 22K and indicated that the ring was created in China.
Currently a size 3, your jeweler could resize it for you if needed. The ring ships with a certificate from Stone Group Labs stating that the jade is untreated jadeite from Burma (Myanmar).
