About the Item

The Solaris Sovereign Ring is a truly classic example of Hannah's signature sculpture for the body. Orbits of pave set coloured stones encircle the negative space that is left at the centre of this ring. Each concentric circle subtly changes in size and height as it goes, making every view of this ring different from every angle. Taken from the collection entitled ‘Solaris’, the inspiration for this piece blends Russian Art Deco with the calculus contraptions of the period of enlightenment, as well as the dark beauty of alchemy and time travel. By contrasting vividly coloured stones and black diamonds set within 18 kt white gold, and framed with pitch black rhodium, Hannah offers a further fine twist within her iconic line of empty sovereign rings.
