About the Item

A fine and impressive vintage French 0.28 carat ruby and 0.30 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and 18 karat white gold set twist / dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive ruby ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting. The pierced decorated, asymmetrical twist design mount is ornamented with a 18k yellow gold six claw / prong set 0.28Ct round mixed cut ruby. The ring is embellished with a total of five individually 18k white gold six claw / prong set diamonds in a combination of eight-cut and transitional modern brilliant round cuts. The ring shoulders integrate with the twist design and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the maker's mark and the French hallmark for 18k gold (eagle's head). This impressive vintage dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Condition This impressive 1950s twist ring is fine quality set with a ruby and very well color matched, very high color graded old cut diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the exterior of the shank.
