Chunky Antique 9k Rose Gold Signet Ring, Art Deco
About the Item
This handsome antique 9kt Rose gold signet ring has a warm cherished charm about it and a rich golden glow only found on older pieces.
It is a rose gold with pinky tones in 9kt.
It has a shield shaped face with no engraving or monograms so could be personalised if desired.
It has a rich, smooth gold band with embossed shoulders, nice and chunky with a floral or blossom design.
It is a nice weighty ring, well designed and fully hallmarked.
Signet rings derive their name from the Latin for signature, they were popular throughout history in men's jewellery and were often carved with family crests or signatures and used as stamps or intaglios, later they remained popular as a fashion choice and they have remained a popular piece of mens jewellery since their creation.
