A late Renaissance Agate Cameo of Socrates in a Regency Gold ring mount

About

Socrates, facing to his left, with full beard, bald head and snub nose, making him one of the most recognisable profiles in the world, still going strong after 2500 years. This is the type of ring that Beau Brummell and his circle would have worn at the Prince Regent's Court in 1810 and is now available for the 21st century market, where the wearing of large Rings has been abandoned by men but taken up with enthusiasm by women. Dimensions: 3 cm heigh x 2.5 cm wide Finger size: USA 7 1/2 UK P CN 16 Italian Cameo circa 1620 Condition: Good Price: $5700
