Post Medieval silver 'I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD' ring with eagle. Set to center with a circular silver gilt plaque with an eagle with wings spread wide in relief, encircled by a silver frame engraved with Latin 'EGO + SUM + LUX + MVUNDI +', translated as 'I am the light of the world', on a solid rounded shank. Tested silver and silver gilt, approximately 8.4g in weight, circa 17th century AD.
